The Kite and Rocket Festival is a fun day-long event to get new and returning Cub Scouts outdoors and having fun at the start of the new Scouting year!

• September 27
• Check in opens at 8:30 and activities begin at 9am
• Event runs until 3:45pm

• Smilin V Scout Ranch, Liberty Hill

• Launch rockets of different types
• Build and fly your own kite
• Sharpen skills on the BB and archery ranges
• Complete the Champions of Nature Adventure
• Participants should bring a sack lunch
