Federal Surplus Property Program – the Texas Facilities Commission makes surplus property from the federal government available to a variety of eligible organizations, including Scout units. Your unit must apply to purchase equipment at discounted prices, but the application is free. Visit the Texas Facilities Commission website for more information and to download an application. Note: all purchases must be picked up in person at the state warehouse in San Antonio or Fort Worth.
