Come for just the morning or all day, to focus on serious topics or just to have fun learning new skills! The University of Scouting offers classes in different “colleges” from Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA and Older Scouts with dozens of new classes each year. Sign up for anything that interests you, from Dutch Oven Cooking to Skits & Songs, knot tying and more! You will find training on topics not covered anywhere else at any other event in our council. We focus on topics you can take back to your unit and use right away; practical information that will help you improve your program or the organization itself.

The Older Scout and General Studies Focused University of Scouting will take place on:

Location:  Frank Fickett Training Center

Cost:  The event is $15 to attend and you will have the opportunity to order a box lunch from Jason’s Deli for the event.

Box lunches will not be available for purchase onsite, only via registrations made before 5/7/2026. Box lunches include chips, a cookie, pickle and a choice of one of the sandwiches.
