Welcome! No matter how you connected to Scouting before, you can find abundant ways to get involved, support Scouting, and help youth grow into their very best selves for generations to come as a member of Scouting Alumni.

“But wait! I wasn’t a Scout. How can I be an alum?”

• Were you ever a merit badge counselor?
• Did you ever take your child to a den meeting… or hosted one in your home?
• Have you ever benefited from a young person’s Eagle Scout project?

There are countless ways you could have connected with Scouting in your life. Bottom line: if you have ever been positively impacted by Scouting’s mission of preparing youth for their futures, then YOU are a Scouting America alum.

There’s no cost to be a Scouting Alum. You just have to be eligible to join Scouting as an adult member.
