April 3-4, 2027
STEMboree is a fun day or overnight event open for Cubs and their families/dens/packs to enjoy hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities and more while visiting with scientists and experts who can get your scouts excited about STEM and discovery!
The event takes place at the Smilin V Scout Ranch. There are STEM activities for all Cub levels (Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos). Camping overnight is optional.
The purpose of this weekend is to provide Cub Scouts and their families opportunities to have fun with STEM and to explore scouting in a STEM-focused camp environment.
Scouts may sign up for STEM classes and other award activities. Check the event schedule for available COSMIC award opportunities. There are also open STEM activities and acres of camp to explore. COSMIC STEM Awards recognize hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Participants begin with COSMIC First Steps before earning topic patches.
For STEMboree, the classes are just for Cub Scouts. For older scouts (11-20) looking for a weekend camp with merit badges and STEM awards, check out STEM Adventure Weekend for Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouting youth.
